2024 Ford Mustang Specs Revealed: GT Packs Up To 486 HP, Dark Horse 500 HP
Ford has revealed the horsepower specs for their much-awaited 2024 Mustang. According to Ford, base models get an all-new 2.3-liter EcoBoost engine, which pushes out 315 hp (235 kW / 319 PS) and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) of torque when running on premium gasoline. Those looking for more power and cylinders can opt for the Mustang GT with its 5.0-liter Coyote V8, which now makes 480 hp (358 kW / 487 PS) and 415 lb-ft (562 Nm) of torque. Building on the V8 is the Dark Horse, with a thunderous 500 hp (373 kW / 507 PS) and 418 lb-ft (566 Nm) of torque.
2024 Ford Edge Hybrid Shows Off New Styling In China
Documents published by Chinese authorities have given us a first look at a number of new vehicles destined for the far-east market, starting with the new Ford Edge hybrid. It features straighter, more modern lines that make the new vehicle look a little more grown-up. The new Edge is also longer, measuring 5 meters (197 inches) in length and bringing it closer to the Toyota Highlander.

The Buick LaCrosse sedan may no longer be available stateside, but it’s still going strong in the Chinese market, with a new generation being readied for launch next year. Thanks to these new images from China, we can see how the latest iteration is a dramatic departure from the previous model, featuring sharp LED headlights and a new grille that bears a resemblance to the Toyota Avalon.
Nio ES8 Electric SUV Gets A Clean New Look, Lidar And Up To 631-HP
Another reveal, thanks to the Chinese authorities, is the all-new ES8 electric SUV. Compared with the current NT1-generation ES8, the NT2 car looks much less fussy, particularly around the front end, which now features more body-colored plastic on the bumpers.
McMurtry Spéirling Rips 7.9-Second Quarter Mile
Smaller and lighter than rivals, the pint-sized all-electric hypercar known as the McMurtry Spéirling has set a blistering 0-60 mph run of 1.4 seconds and a quarter mile time of 7.97 seconds. With Mat Watson of Carwow behind the wheel, it’s a new 0-60 record for a road car.

The Toyota IMV 0 concept is an unconventional new look at the future of pickups, featuring an exterior design that shares some similarities with the Urban Cruiser EV concept and with a long rear bed for a single-cab body. Other highlights include bulging fenders, handles on the bonnet, numerous mounting points, and modular roof rails. We guess that Toyota could offer variations of the pickup suiting the different needs of professionals.

EU Threatens Elon Musk With Sanctions Over Journalist’s Twitter Bans
Reporters from the New York Times, CNN, and the Washington Post have reported that they have been locked out of their Twitter accounts. Elon Musk tweeted that the seven-day bans were related to accounts that engaged in doxxing — the release of private information about individuals. But EU commissioner Vera Jourova tweeted that “Elon Musk should be aware of that. There are red lines. And sanctions, soon,” reports the BBC.
