India reported 625 fresh cases along side no death in the last 24 hours. This is the first such instance since March 2020 as per an update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare at 8 a.m. on Nov. 8.
While one day recoveries stood at 1,119, active cases declined to 14,021.
The total number of people who recovered from the virus, surged to 4,41,17,611, while the case fatality rate was recorded at 1.19%.
The death toll remained the same as yesterday, 5,30,509.
As per the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, 219.74 crore doses of Covid vaccine have been administered in the country so far under the nationwide Covid-19 vaccination drive
Most of the states throughout the nation have almost excused masking mandates mandatory in public areas.
