India’s active Covid-19 cases rose for the third day in a row as fresh infections continued to surpass single-day recoveries.
The country added 2,430 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, according to the 8 a.m. update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. Daily recoveries stood at 2,378.
The active tally stood at 26,618.
