Fresh Covid-19 cases in India lagged daily recoveries for four days in a row, dragging down the active tally.
India reported an addition of 2,119 new cases in the last 24 hours, according to the 8 a.m. update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. There were 2,582 recoveries and ten deaths during the same period.
The country’s active case tally now stands at 25,037.
