Rolls Royce unveiled their all-electric Spectre on October 18, 2022. The Rolls Royce EV Spectre is set to be launched in year 2023. This is the brand’s first major foray into their target of pure EV cars by the year 2030. The Rolls Royce Spectre carries the brand’s classic design. The EV has a minimalistic look with a long bonnet and it measures over 5.4 metres in length and 2 metres in width. As with other Rolls Royce models, Spectre comes with the signature ‘Spirit of Ecstasy’ on the bonnet. The Spectre has ultra-slim LEDs in the headlights and stunning LED tail lights. The car is made of aluminium and weighs around 300 tonnes. As an electric vehicle, the Spectre has a driving range of 520 kilometres as per the WLTP cycle. The Spectre is capable of producing 585hp, and can go from 0 km/h to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
The Spectre is a bigger than most average cars, and has the extremely luxurious interious with ample amount of space. The Rolls Royce Spectre is also fitted with the broadest grille with 22 LEDs for soft lighting. The Spectre has a coefficient of 0.25, making it the most aerodynamic car yet designed by Rolls Royce. The fastback rooftop on the Rolls Royce Spectre is the largest single-body board that has been fitted on any Rolls Royce yet. The Spectre also comes equipped with aero-optimised 23-inch wheels, which are the biggest ever wheels to ever be fitted onto any 2-door Rolls Royce. Rolls Royce calls the Spectre a spiritual successor to the Phantom Coupe and an emblem of artisanship in perfect harmony with electric technology. Rolls Royce considers Spectre to be their first step as the leader a world of electric cars. The company also aims to redevelop all of their existing cars to become EVs by the year 2030.
