Fresh Covid-19 cases in India fell from a day earlier but stayed above the 1,000-mark.
India reported 1,326 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to an 8 a.m. update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The country saw 1,723 recoveries with 8 deaths in the last 24 hours.
India’s active case tally now stands at 17,912 — the lowest since June 1.
