Fresh Cases Drop Below 1,000; Daily Deaths At 3

Fresh Covid-19 cases in India dropped below the 1,000-mark, the lowest since April 13.

India reported 862 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, according to an 8 a.m. update from the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare. The country saw 1,503 recoveries with 3 deaths in the last 24 hours.

India’s active case tally now stands at 22,549.

• Total Deaths: 5,28,980

• Number of fresh cases in last 24 hours: 862

• One-day recoveries: 1,503
