Fresh Covid-19 dropped for the second day but remained above the 12,000-mark, stoking fears of a fourth wave.
The world’s second-most populous country added 12,781 new confirmed coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on June 20.
Active case tally jumped to the highest since March 3.
