Fresh Covid-19 cases in India rose for the second day, staying above the 7,000-mark.
The country added 7,946 new coronavirus cases in the last 24 hours, according to the Health Ministry’s update as of 8 a.m. on Sept. 1.
Active cases, however, continued to decline, falling to the lowest since June 16.
