The average number of daily fliers in August 2022-to-date stands at ~326,000 versus 316,000 for the month of July 2022. For August-2022-to-date, the average number of daily departures remained stable month-on-month at 2,561 and the average number of fliers per departure increased from 123 in July-22 to 127 in Aug-22-to-date.
Interglobe Aviation Ltd. market share gains continue; passenger load factors dipped sequentially for all major airlines except for SpiceJet Ltd. and Vistara:

Airlines that saw market share gain: Air India (up 100 bps, 9.6%), IndiGo (up 190 bps, 58.8%), Vistara (up 100 bps, 10.4%).

Airlines that saw market share decline: SpiceJet (down 150 bps, 8%), Go First (down 130 bps, 8.2%), Air Asia (down 100 bps, 4.6%).

PLF declined sequentially for all the major airlines in July-22 except for SpiceJet and Vistara, which saw marginal gains. Highest fall was reported by Air India (down 430 bps, 71.1%) and Go Air (down 220 bps, 77%).
