KIMS Q1 Review – Challenge To Drive Topline Growth: Axis Securities

In Q1 FY23, Krishna Institute of Medical Sciences Ltd.’s standalone revenue (excluding Sunshine) Rs 385 crore increased by 7.4% which is below as compare to industry growth.

Group revenue (including Sunshine) Rs 496 crore reported a growth 3.8% which is impacted due to high base (Covid-19) last year.

The standalone occupancies are on lower side 71% versus 84.8% YoY and average revenue per occupied bed is Rs 26,341 versus Rs 27,290 YoY in Q1 FY23.

KIMS’ matured assets are delivering continuous lower occupancies as company is losing market share from competitors. Standalone Ebitda Rs 111.8 crore decreased by 220 basis points YoY while consolidated Ebitda Rs 137 crore decreased by 330 bps YoY due to increase in other expenses of the company.
