Limited-Run Bugatti Centodieci Is Coming To Rocket League

Gamers will be able to drive the Bugatti Centodieci when it is added to Rocket League on December 19.

With just 10 road-going examples of the Centodieci being produced, very few people will ever get the chance to drive on in the flesh, let alone even see one up close. To add the Bugatti, San Diego video game developer Psyonix has collaborated with the French automaker and added it to the online Item Shop.

Additionally, the Bugatti Centodieci Bundle available in the game includes the Bugatti Centodieci Engine Audio, wheels, Noire decal, and a player banner.

Bugatti officially unveiled the Centodieci during Monterey Car Week in 2019. It was introduced as a homage to the iconic EB 110 and is based on the ‘standard’ Chiron. As such, it is powered by an 8.0-liter quad-turbocharged W16 engine, albeit one that has been tweaked to deliver 1,578 hp, giving it 99 more horses than the Chiron.

This added power helps propel the Centodieci to 62 mph (100 km/h) in just 2.4 seconds, 124 mph (200 km/h) in 6.1 seconds, and 186 mph (300 km/h) in approximately 13 seconds. It can continue through to an electronically limited top speed of 236 mph (380 km/h).

The bodywork of the Centodieci immediately distinguishes it from the Chiron and all other limited-run Bugatti models. The front end includes a set of slim LED headlights while it also sits on a set of bespoke wheels and has round air intakes just behind the side windows, much like the EB 110. Found at the rear is a prominent fixed rear wing and intricate LED taillights.
