India’s stock benchmarks rose, aided by gains in power, metal, and oil and gas stocks. The 30-stock Sensex had added 132.91 points to hover around 59,378.89 on the BSE. The Nifty 50 traded around 17,704.95 on the NSE. Among the Nifty 50 constituents, 29 stocks rose while 20 fell. One stock remained unchanged.
