Songwriters Mel Maryns, Korey Power, Robert Dawson and local artist Daqidexcel were the first acts to take to the custom-built stage.
Dublin pop band Wild Youth appeared for a surprise performance to the delight of those in attendance.
City Stages will return to Limerick in January and will tour Ireland over the coming months, providing a platform for buskers and emerging musicians to perform to new audiences and promote their music, taking artists from the smallest stages to the biggest ones.
