This $1.1 Million Property In New Zealand Comes With A Free Brand New Tesla Model Y

Offering a gift with your product is always a clever way of promoting it and that is exactly what a property owner from New Zealand did in order to stand out from the crowd in the saturated real estate market. More specifically, the listing of this $1.1 million home includes a brand-new Tesla Model Y in the deal as a no-cost option.

The house is located at 22 Dungloe Avenue, Flat Bush in Auckland, New Zealand. It has a total of seven bedrooms, two kitchens, and five bathrooms – including the ones in the granny flat. There is a ground floor, a first floor, and a garage at the back, covering an area of 476 square meters (5,124 square feet) in total. According to the listing on Barfoot & Thompson real estate agent, there is off-street parking space for five to six vehicles, accessible through an electric gate.

The free Tesla can be parked in this garage located at the back.

The free Tesla Model Y will be brand-new, ordered right after the purchase of the property. This means that the new owner will also get to pick the color of their choice. The ad is not specific about the trim, but we guess that the gift will be the entry-level RWD variant of the Tesla Model Y which starts at NZ $76,200 (US $47,268) in the local market.

As reported by Sky News, house prices in New Zealand have dropped for 11 consecutive months following a 40% increase after the pandemic, making it harder for homeowners to sell their properties at the moment.

The “free Tesla” will likely help increase the popularity of this listing, although the $76k starting price of the EV is not a significant amount when compared to the NZ $1.8 million (US $1.1 million) asking price of the property. The latter was recently reduced after being in the market for a few weeks.

This is not the first time we see vehicles being offered together with a property, but usually, this applies to multi-million dollar estates coming with a collection of exotics. Would a free car make your appetite for a property if you were in the market for one or do you prefer to buy your own vehicle of choice?
