You’ve Never Seen A Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Quite Like This

A Lamborghini Aventador SVJ that looks unlike any other will cross the auction block in late November at RM Sotheby’s Motorworld Munchen sales event in Germany.

As one of just 900 examples of the Aventador SVJ Coupe ever produced, the mid-engined Italian supercar is obviously something very special. Making this unit stand out from most others is the fact that it is finished in a ark shade of military green dubbed Verde Triton. While there are a number of other shades of green from Lamborghini’s palette that we prefer, there’s no denying that this one catches the eye.

Beyond the paint, the car continues to sit on the original gloss black wheels that sit over a set of bronze-colored brake calipers. A number of exterior elements are also finished in exposed carbon fiber.

The interior of this Aventador SVJ Coupe neatly complements the exterior with Nero Cosmus Alcantara and leather, complete with complementary Verde Fauns piping. The listing notes the car will be sold with a battery charger, car cover, detailing kit, firing order ornament, owner’s manual, scale model, and the service book.

Like the standard Aventador, the SVJ is powered by a 6.5-liter naturally-aspirated V12, albeit one that features modified cylinder heads and titanium intake valves, allowing Lamborghini to increase power to 759 hp. The car manufacturer also went to the town on the aerodynamics of the supercar, fitting it with the new ALA system that contributes to a 40 per cent increase in downforce. Various weight saving measures were also made, allowing the car to hit 100 km/h (62 mph) in 2.8 seconds and a 349 km/h (216 mph) top speed.

The listing on RM Sotherbys reveals the car has only ever been driven 2,155 km (1,339 miles).
